The Japanese film festival celebrates the joy of FRIENDSHIP, commemorating 40 years of diplomatic relations between Singapore and Japan.
As friendship knows no boundaries, the films selected this year will marvel the audience on how friendship can blossom in unforeseen cicrumstances.
19 popular films will be presented such as Linda Linda Linda, Captain Harlock in Arcadia, robocon and films by Kitano Takeshi. Ogigami Naoko, a young and emerging director will also be making a special appearance to present two of her outstanding features: Yoshino's Barber Shop and Kamone Diner.

**Free tickets can be collected at the SFS booth outside of the theatre which will be issued for current day's session.Tickets are limited and available on a first-come-first-serve basis.
